Bring your XC skis, your snowshoes or your coziest winter boots for this hour-long guided tour of the Northeast’s tallest waterfall. A park naturalist will lead you on a guided hike through beautiful and enchanting Taughannock Gorge. Discover how the gorges of the Finger Lakes came to be and also gain a greater appreciation of our natural areas. Enjoy the flat trail which takes you 1.5 miles roundtrip, into the wooded gorge with rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above. The tour will end at the base of the 215 foot tall Taughannock Falls. Please dress for winter weather, snowshoes and cross country skis are welcomed.
